Rajasthan to organise two sessions at National e-Governance Conference

Rajasthan will organise two sessions at the 29th National e-Governance Conference () to be held in Jaipur on July 1-2, 2026. 

“The two sessions will focus on youth and quick access to citizen services to the person sitting at the last mile through innovation and technology,” said , Special Secretary and Commissioner of Information Technology and Communication Department. 

The NCEG is an annual conference being jointly organised by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, of Electronics and Information Technology and one of the states. 

This is for the first time Rajasthan will serve as a premier platform for advancing India's digital governance agenda.

The two-day conference will also feature an exhibition of 30 projects from across the country. The Rajasthan Government's e-initiatives will be highlighted through films and publications.

Chief Secretary V Srinivas reviews the progress

With the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047: AI Enabled, Data-Driven and Secure Digital Governance”, the conference emphasises the role of emerging technologies in building efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric governance systems. 

Rajasthan Chief Secretary V Srinivas, who had been the key organiser of this conference in the past while serving at centre as Secretary Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), reviewed the preparations of the event along with Nivedita Shukla Verma, who is the current Secretary of DARPG. She gave comprehensive guidelines to the officials regarding making the event historic and grand.

Rajasthan Chief Secretary V Srinivas directed officials to give special attention to the outreach of the conference. He told them to seek cooperation of startups and industry partners to reach out and raise awareness about the event. 

What will there be at the conference? 

The conference will have six plenary sessions and six breakout sessions. Through these sessions, senior officials, policy makers, academicians, industry experts and awardees will deliberate on innovative and best practices and emerging trends in e-governance of the country and the world.
