Two and half years of toil was put to test when Rajasthan Foundation, Department of National and International Expatriate Rajasthani Affairs interacted with more than 200 participants including representatives and investors of Rajasthan Foundation Chapters and non-resident Rajasthani organisations from across the globe for attracting investment in Rajasthan.
Commissioner of Rajasthan Foundation Dr. Manisha Arora, who had been instrumental in organising in mega Pravasi Rajasthani Divas n December last year, addressed the Rajasthani diaspora and encouraged them to invest in their motherland.
She said that regular virtual meetings are being organised to communicate with non-resident Rajasthanis. Migrants settled in the country and abroad also have a strong desire to explore investment possibilities in the state and expand their business in their state.

Arora appreciated the constructive contribution of Surat chapter to the ongoing “Karmabhoomi Se Matrubhum Abhiyan” in the state. The role of non-resident Rajasthanis in the Vande Ganga Abhiyan and Shiksha Bhamashahwas also commended in the virtual interaction.
During the virtual meeting, Rajasthani diaspora were informed about various investment schemes and prospects about land allocation process in Rajasthan.
“Development and investment prospects in Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Zone (JPMIA), Rajasthan Petro Zone, provisions related to land cost recovery, opportunities available under ‘plug and play' model and ‘Raj Investment Portal' were informed in detail,” said an official of RIICO, the nodal agency of industrial development in the state.
