Dr Bhanwar Lal, who is serving as Managing Director of Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JdVVNL) has been given additional charge of Managing Director of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited following retirement of K C Verma.
Bhanwar Lal has been serving as Managing Director of JdVVNL since September 2024. During his tenure, Jodhpur Discom has performed considerably well. The company has reported net profits of Rs. 92.29 crore in FY25 as against loss of Rs.292.88 crore in FY24.
The profits are mainly on account of increase in exceptional items like revenue from grants, other income, non-operating income, reversal of finance cost etc.
Apart from that, the state government has also given three months extension to Devendra Shringi who is serving as Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited.
The state government has given further three months tenure to several officers in the energy department including V K Chhangani as Director Technical of JdVVNL, Suresh Chand Meena as Director (Operations) in RRVPNL, Sanjay Sanadhya as Director Technical in RRVUN, R K Sharma as Director (Technical) in JVVNL, M K Khandelwal as Director (Finance) in RRVUNL and Kajod Meena as Director (Projects) in RRVUNL.
