In the run up to the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas to be celebrated on December 10, Rajasthan government organised ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Meet' at Bhubaneswar.
More than 300 successful Rajasthani diaspora attended the meet and interacted with government officials led by Shikhar Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Department of Domestic and Overseas Rajasthani Affairs (DoRA).
Dr Manisha Arora, Special Secretary DoRA and Commissioner Rajasthan Foundation also interacted with investors and apprised them with schemes policies of Rajasthan government.
In his address, Shikhar Agrawal said that Rajasthan is emerging as one of the country's leading investment destinations and the state government is committed to providing a transparent, accountable, and investor-friendly environment for industries.
He urged the diaspora to actively participate in the state's development and capitalize on the opportunities available in Rajasthan, while extending an invitation to attend ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas,' scheduled for December 10, 2026.
Following the meet, Shikhar Agrawal held one-on-one meetings with industry representatives from various sectors.
During these discussions, representatives from sectors such as hotels and resorts, IT and logistics, food processing, and metals and mining deliberated on opportunities for investment, expansion, and business collaboration in Rajasthan.
Among industrialists present were Dr Pradipta Mohanty, Chairman of SNM Group and former Chairman of CII Odisha, C. Chandru, CEO of Vedanta Aluminium, Sujit Kumar, Rajya Sabha MP and Ajay Agrawal, Chairman of the Rajasthan Foundation's Bhubaneswar Chapter among others.
