Forest minister Sanjay Sharma suspended controversial deputy conservator of forest (DCF in Baran Anil Kumar Yadav after reacting to allegations of Kishanganj MLA Lalit Meena in the Rajasthan Assembly.
Meena alleged that DCF Yadav, a state forest service officer, is neck deep in corruption. He alleged that Yadav has siphoned of money in plantation drive and other activities of Compulsory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA).
Another MLA from Chhabra,also from BJP Pratap Singh Singhvi has written ta letter to chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma for suspending Yadav, who is said to be indulged in corruption.
Yadav had also been alleged with corruption charges when he was posted in Dholpur and Sawai Madhopur. In Dholpur, he was accused of siphoning of money in Crocodile Sanctuary project. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was also constituted.
“But there was no outcome. You can easily understand the clout of this person,” said Chhabra MLA Pratap Singh Singhvi.
Anil Yadav was sent on APO
After financial irregularities were reported in Barana, forest minister Sanjay Sharma removed him and sent him on awaiting posting order (APO) on August 4, this year.
However, Yadav moved Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Authority against this order and managed to get a stay on APO.
During his service, Yadav has also been accused of intimidating subordinates, which is under investigation.
