JK Tyre receives the Best Employer Award

India's leading tyre manufacturer JK Tyre & Limited has been awarded as the Best Employer in the large scale engineering category by the Employers' Association of Rajasthan at a felicitation ceremony in Jaipur.

The guest was Rajiv Arora, chairman Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation (Rajsico).
Anil Mishra, chief general manager of JK Tyre received the award.

Mishra said that JK Tyre has employee friendly policies and it takes care of employees like family members.

“For us it's employee first. We are sensitive towards concerns of our employees. We take utmost care at our organisation to provide them with job satisfaction and job security. JK has a rich tradition of keeping its employees happy and progressive. We work towards fulfilling vision of our Dr. Raghupati Singhania,” he said.

N K Jain, of the Employers' Association said that the award is just a token of respect and appreciation for organisations that are doing exceeding well in keeping their employees happy and content.

“JK Tyre is amongst the top organisations in the country having best HR practices. We are happy that it has a manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, which is not only adding to the revenue of state government but also generating jobs in the state,” he said.

The JK Tyre Plant at Kankroli

The JK Tyre has 12 manufacturing plants across the globe with a combined capacity of 30 million tyres per annum. It has nine plants in India and three in Mexico.

The plant at Kankroli was JK's first tyre plant which was established in 1976. In the journey of 47 years, JK Tyre has changed the face of not only Kankroli but the entire Rajsamand district by injecting fuel in the local economy.

With an annual turnover of more than Rs 1,500 crore, JK Tyre is pivot of economic growth in division.

The company has generated jobs in the region and is supporting more than 10,000 families who are directly or indirectly associated with the company.
