No Indigo Blues for Pravasi Rajasthani Divas

A day before Rajasthan hosts Pravasi Rajasthani Divas (PRD), all eyes are on the arrival of guests amid flight cancellations and disruption due to fiasco of Airlines. 

Rajasthan Foundation commissioner Manisha Arora, who has been visiting and inviting throughout the year, said that there is not much impact of Indigo crisis on PRD. 

“Our guests are enthusiastic about attending PRD. They are coming by train, flight and whatever means they are getting. We are overwhelmed by the response we are getting,” she said. 

Madan Lal Jangid, owner of a furniture chain in echoes her voice. 

“The kind of affection Rajasthan government has shown, I am overwhelmed. My flight to Jaipur was cancelled but I made it a point to reach here. So I took train,” he said adding that he wants to contribute to the development of his motherland. 

Over 87,00 delegates have registered for the which will showcase Rajasthan not only as the destination but also as the magical magnet uniting the Rajasthani diaspora spread across the globe.

“Pravasi Rajasthani Divas is the celebration of entrepreneurial spirit of Rajasthanis who rose to become axis of business and economic activities wherever they went. It's a day to salute the zeal and enthusiasm of business barons who withstood all hardships and vagaries to develop Marwari style of Business,” said Tapan Singh Shekhawat, who is the third generation entrepreneur doing business in Myanmar.
