Rajasthan Chief Secy V Srinivas holds STEM to assess education tree of PM SHRI

Rajasthan chief secretary  has set right his priorities. For him education is on top of the mind. Sitting on the bench of a government school is the best way to get an idea about the quality of teaching in a government school designated as the coveted PM SHRI School. Srinivas did exactly the same at a school in a Jaipur village. 

Accompanied by school education secretary and other officials, Srinivas tested water. Sitting on the bench of the classroom he assessed the skills of teachers, inspected the infrastructure and readiness of PM Shri School – meant for providing high-quality, equitable, and inclusive education.

Rajasthan has 739 PM SHRI Schools including 482 state government's higher secondary schools and 64 centrally run Kendriya Vidyalayas. The aim of these schools is to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) into a cohesive learning approach

What is PM SHRI Scheme?

The PM SHRI (Prime Minister's Schools for Rising ) Scheme is a Government of India to upgrade over 14,500 existing schools into exemplary institutions showcasing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by providing modern infrastructure (smart classrooms, digital libraries), innovative pedagogy (experiential, learner-centered), holistic development (skills, arts, sports, mental health), and strong community links, creating a welcoming, safe, and resource-rich environment for all .
