Rajasthan govt joins hands with Piramal Foundation for future ready education system

Department has joined hands with Piramal Foundation with an aim of improving the quality of school education and improving the learning level of in the state. 

The agreement was signed under the chairmanship of Rajesh Yadav, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education. Rashmi Sharma, State Project Director of Samgra Shiksha was also present.

Under this agreement, Piramal Foundation will work as a technical support unit to strengthen artificial intelligence and personalised adaptive learning based digital education in the state. 

At the same time, this initiative will help promote girl child education and make scholarship related schemes more effective, transparent and easy.

What is there in MoU?

The objective of this MoU is to induce improvements in the school education system ans make it new technology and -oriented.

“This will significantly improve the learning outcomes of students from class 8 to 12 and also strengthen and organise data and database governance through Personalised Adaptive Learning (PAL) dashboard,” said Rajesh Yadav, , School Education. 

Apart from that, there will be continuous capacity building of teachers and technical partners through edtech (education technology) based special programmes to ensure access to quality, inclusive and personalised digital education to every student in the state.

“This partnership will be a significant step towards strengthening the technology-driven, innovation-based and future-oriented education system in that will give a new extension to the educational landscape of the state in the times to come,” Yadav said.
