Three key aides of minister Bhupendra Yadav removed abruptly, sends shock waves

In a rare development in politico-bureaucracy, three close aides of union minister of , forest and climate change Bhupendra Yadav has been removed. 

Three separate orders were issued back-to-back copied to Prime Minister's Office, sending shock waves in the and raising speculation that something fishy might have happened. 

The first order terminated the appointment of , Additional to Yadav, with immediate effect.

Shailesh Kumar Singh, a Central Secretariat Service officer and Additional Private Secretary to Yadav, was repatriated to his parent cadre at the Department of Personnel and Training. The order granted him an “extended cooling off” period. 

The third order sent Amar Singh, an Revenue Service officer (IT) from the 2010 batch, who had served as the minister's Private Secretary, back to his parent cadre at the Department of Revenue on administrative grounds.

Sources said that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second term from 2019 to 2024, around 102 officers and personal staff of various ministers were removed and transferred.
