In a major reshuffle, Rajasthan government transferred 65 IAS officers including 25 district collectors. The government has also carried out massive changes in Chief Minister Office (CMO) – inducting young officers as Officer on Special Duty while rewarding the existing officers with good posting. Sandesh Nayak, who was serving as Special Secretary in CMO has been transferred as Jaipur District Collector. Jitendra Soni who was serving as Jaipur Collector has been posted as Secretary in CMO and Secretary in Department of Information and Public Relation. Soni has been rewarded for his performance as Jaipur Collector.
Another officer from CMO Arvind Kumar Poswal, who was serving as Special Secretary to CM, has been transferred as Commissoner Housing Board.
Arora inducts new faces in his team
Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary to CM has inducted new faces to strengthen his team. Mukul Sharma, who was serving as Sikar Collector has been transferred as Special Secretary in CMO while Utsav Kaushal, who was serving as Collector Deeg, has been brought in as Joint Secretary. Amita Sharma, who was serving as Joint Secretary in Finance Department, has also been transferred to CMO.
Arora has brought in three young officers in CMO as Officer on Special Duty – Ria Dabi (2021 batch), Rajat Yadav (2023 batch) and Akshat Kumar Singh, also from 2023 batch.
Rajan Vishal, who was serving as Secretary Finance (Budget) has been transferred as Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission – the scheme is under radar of ED and ACB for the alleged involvement of former IAS Subodh Agarwal in the alleged Rs 960 crore scam. Agarwal is on run for last 2 months while ACB is hunting for him across the country.
Nakate Shivprasad Madan, who was serving as Excise Commissioner, has been transferred as Managing Director Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited – the agency which in involved in power purchasing. The appointment of Nakate, who has performed well as Commissioner Excise, is crucial for fulfilling the power requirement of the state in the ensuing summer months.
Om Prakash Kasera, who was serving as Managing Director Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited, has been transferred as Commissioner Jaipur Nagar Nigam and CEO, Jaipur Smart City Limited.
Namit Mehta, who was serving as Udaipur Collector, will stay in Udaipur with a new posting as Excise Commissioner. He will have a tough task to increase the revenue in the new fiscal which started today.
Shivangi Swarnkar, who was serving as Managing Director RIICO, has been transferred as Joint Secretary Finance (Budget) and CEO Public Finance Management Training Society. She has been replaced by Suresh Kumar Ola, who was serving as Commissoner, Industries and Bureau Of Investment Promotion (BIP). Ola, who has performed well as BIP Commissioner will have a task cut out to bring MoUs signed during Rising Rajasthan on ground.
Neelabh Saxena, who was serving as Collector Karauli, has been transferred as Commissioner Industries and Bureau of Investment Promotion.
Nishant Jain, who was serving as Secretary Jaipur Development Authority has been transferred to Bikaner as Collector. He will also hold charge of Bikaner Development Authority. Dr Gaurav Saini, who was serving as Commissioner Jaipur Nagar Nigam will now work as Secretary Jaipur Development Authority replacing Jain.
Gaurav Agrawal, who was serving as Jodhpur Collector, has been transferred as Udaipur Collector – another important district after his good performance as Jodhpur Collector. His performance during Operation Sindoor drew appreciation from all quarters.
