Three IAS officers who were waiting for posting orders, have been posted at a late night reshuffle in Rajasthan. Avichal Chaturvedi and H Guite, who have come back from study leave, have been given posting. Khajan Singh, who was member of Tax Board, has been on APO since December 2025 when Tax Board was merged with Revenue Board.
However, Ambrish Kumar, who has been on APO since a month, will have to wait for some more time. He was sent on APO after he went on a foreign trip without seeking permissions from the Chief Minister. He was then serving as Principal Secretary Food and Consumer Affairs. Rohit Gupta, who is serving as Chairman and Managing Director RREC, was given additional charge.
H Guite, 2011 batch IAS officer, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Centre of Good Governance, HCM RIPA. Before going on study leave in June 2025, he was serving as Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Control.
Avichal Chaturvedi, a 2012 batch IAS officer, has been posted as Commissioner Food Safety and Drug Control – the post Tukaram Mundhe is holding in Maharashtra.
Mundhe, 2005 batch IAS officer is creating waves in the country for taking strict action against adulteration. His aggressive raids and inspections targeting fake milk, adulterated food, and major commercial outlets have drawn significant public attention, widespread citizen support, and occasional political debate.
Before going on study leave in July 2025, Chaturvedi was serving as Special Secretary in Home Department.
Kumari Pragya Kewalramani, a 2010 batch IAS officer, has been transferred from Divisional Commissioner Udaipur to Commissioner Tribal Area Development and Commissioner Devasthan – the posts she was handling as additional charges. Interestingly, Kewalramani had been juggling these three posts only since she had been promoted from RAS to IAS. Even when she was serving as RAS officer, she oscillated within posts based out of Udaipur barring few instances when she was posted in Jaipur, Jodhpur or Ajmer.
Khajan Singh, also promoted from state service, will replace Kewalramani as Divisional Commissioner Udaipur. He is left with one year of service.
Sohan Lal, 2020 batch IAS officer, who was serving as Additional Commissioner Commercial Tax, has been transferred as Joint Secretary Agriculture (Group-II).
Divyansh Singh, a 2022 batch IAS officer, who was serving as SDM Beawar, has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Education department.
