Two days day before the Prime Minister Modi's Jaipur rally to be managed by all-, Vasundhara Raje suddenly swung into action. She had a conglomeration of women at her residence in Jaipur.

Thousands of women from across the state hoarded to tie her the Raksha sutra and pledged to uproot the government.

Raje said that the raksha sutra may just be a brittle thread but it's strong and unbreakable.

“This is protection shield for me. This thread entwines strength and power of entire women force which will give me courage to win over every difficulty and motivate me to keep serving people of the state,” Raje said.

She thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the passage of Women's Bill.

She said that through the reservation Bill, Modiji has reiterated that without the participation of women power, the imagination of nation rebuilding is incomplete.

Taking a leaf from Mahabharata, Raje said that when Lord Shrikrishna had a cut in his finger, Draupadi torn her saree and wrapped around the wound . Shrikrishna also saved Draupadi from Kauravas.

“This thread should be tied only to the person who is worthy of it. I will draw inspiration from Lord Krishna and will keep serving. I will fight for the right of every Rajasthani,” she said.

Political Message

It has been publicised that for the first time, Modi's rally is being managed and organised by women only.

“To leverage on this, Raje organised a conglomeration of women at her residence which is looked upon as show of strength of former chief minister. She tried to impress upon that she (Raje) is the only woman representative from who has mass support of women,” said Raghuveer Singh, a political observer.

He said that Raje may have a hidden agenda behind this Raksha sutra programme .

“At a time when Raje is struggling to get a foothold on Rajasthan leadership, she finds it an opportune time to press upon central leadership to handover the command Rajasthan to a woman. It will give a strong message to the country that the party believes in ‘Nari Shakti Vandan' not only in words but in action also,” Singh said.
