One school going girl died and anther sustained grievous injuries when roof of a government school building fell abruptly. This time the building was not in a dilapidated state but it was under construction unlike the ‘torn' building in Jhalawar which engulfed lives of seven school children barely a month ago. That time around 10 students too sustained grievous injuries.
Unfortunately, during the celebration of freedom on the 79th year of independence two more school buildings in Bundi district – one private and one government – injury injuries to more students gathered to celebrate the spirit of being free from biases and discrimination.

Whether it's ‘ancient' building or a new one under construction, the quality of construction of such that it is bound to crumble snatch childhood innocence of carefree unsuspecting children.
The state government in Jhalawar case, in a ceremonial action suspended teachers and called for an audit of buildings of all government schools.
After all the audits and actions taken by the state government, school building are still tumbling down crushing the confidence of people who have no choice but to send their children to government schools in hope of a better tomorrow.
People have lost faith in education minister Madan Dilawar. They still have faith on bureaucracy, their collectors and local administration. The question is on the credibility of Udaipur collector Namit Mehta and Bundi collector Akshay Godara and collectors of all other districts which may have sleeping dangers lurking over school buildings.
