IAS Rohit Kumar to stay in Delhi, appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner 

Even after repatriation to from  central deputation, IAS Rohit Kumar will continue to stay in the national capital. He has been appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner, where he will play a role of coordinator between government and central government. 

A 1997 batch IAS, Rohit Kumar had recently returned to cadre after serving almost seven years continuously in central deputation. In his last posting was in where he was serving  as Additional Secretary. 

Naveen Jain, who was undertaking the role of Resident Commissioner along with his responsibilities as Secretary General Administration, Secretariat, Civil Aviation, Protocol and DG Civil Aviation, has been relieved from the role of Resident Commissioner. His all other responsibilities remain intact.
