In a massive reshuffle, Rajasthan government changes 25 IAS officers – effecting major changes in important departments like Energy, PHED, UDH, Revenue and Mines.
The transfer list primarily has stamp of Chief Minister Office. In next few days, another reshuffule list of district collectors is likely.
Ajitabh Sharma, who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary in Energy department with additional charge of Chairman, Rajasthan Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, has been sent to Ajmer as Chairman Revenue Board. Sharma has effected massive reforms in energy sector including reducing domestic tariff, rolling out battery energy storage system guidelines and facilitating investment in renewable sector.
Arti Dogra, will take up the post of Energy Secretary and Chairman Rajasthan Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited while continuing to serve as Chairman Discoms and Managing Director of Jaipur Discom. After a long time, a secretary level officer has been entrusted with important portfolio of energy secretary which is generally manned by Principal Secretary or ACS level officer. Her chamber has become the hottest in the Vidyut Bhawan.
Alok Gupta, who was serving as Chairman Pollution Control Board, has been brought back to Secretary. He has been given important portfolio of ACS UDH and Chairman Rajasthan Housing Board. He swapped position with Debasish Prusty.
Hemant Gera, who was serving as Chairman, Revenue Board, has been brought back to mainstream and posted as Principal Secretary PHED – the department which Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minsiter Akhil Arora was holding as additional charge.
Aparna Arora, who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment, has been transferred in the Petroleum and Mines department.
T Ravi Kant, who was serving as Principal Secretary Mines and Petroleum, has been transferred to Revenue department replacing Jogaram, who retained the post of Commissioner Panchayatiraj. He will also serve as the secretary of the department.
Shuchi Tyagi, who was serving as Secretary Transport has been transferred to Tourism department. She will continue to serve as Secretary Devasthan also. Praveen Gupta who was doubling up as ACS PWD and Tourism, has been left with PWD only. Though he has been also given Youth and Sports – the department Neeraj K Pawan was handling for sometime. Pawan has now been moved to Indiana Gandhi Panchayatiraj Sansthan.
Dr Rajesh Yadav, who was serving as DG Harish Chandra Mathur Institute of Public Administration, has been transferred as ACS School Education. Krishna Kunal was serving as Secretary School Education. He has now been transferred to Rural Development Department.
Sreya Guha, who was serving as ACS rural development department, has been transferred as DG Harish Chandra Mathur Institute of Public Administration and Chairman Rajasthan Financial Corporation.
Dr Samit Sharma, who was serving as Secretary Animal Husbandry has been transferred as Secretary and Registrar Cooperative department replacing Anandhi, who has been transferred as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes- the post Finance Secretary (Revenue) Kumar Pal Gautam was holding as additional charge for quite some time.
Purna Chandra Kishan, who was awaiting posting order since his return from central deputation, has been posted as Secretary Labour, Factories and Boiler Inspection.
