Lalit Kumar, a 2016 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, promoted from State Civil Services, has been given additional charge of Director Elementary Education and Director Secondary Education following superannuation of Sita Ram Jat.
Kumar is currently serving as Director Social Justice and Empowerment department, DG Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Foundation and Member Secretary, Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Apart from that, Ashutosh Gupta, who is serving as Chief Controller of Examination, RPSC, has been given additional charge of Secretary RPSC following the retirement of Ram Niwas Mehta.
Gupta, a native of Ajmer, has been serving on this post for last three years. Earlier also, he was posted in Ajmer as Additional Registrar, Board of Revenue followed by Director Revenue Research and Training Institute and Joint Secretary, Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
Gupta is a 2014 batch IAS officer, promoted from State Civil Services. He is lucky to have spent most of his career in Ajmer on various posts in state services also.
