Avichal Chaturvedi, a 2012 batch IAS officer, who was serving as special secretary home department, has gone on a ne year study leave. He will be back in service in July 2026.
Om Prakash Bunkar (2010), who is also serving as special secretary, home department, will take care of Chaturvedi's responsibilities too. Bunkar, however, is slated to retired this month.
Apart from that, Maneesh Goyal (2015), who is serving as joint secretary education department, has been given additional responsibility of director literacy and continuing education being handled by Meghraj Singh Ratnoo, who retired last month.
Jai Singh, an RAS officer, who is serving as additional director, directorate of revenue intelligence and economic offences, has been given responsibility of additional director general, HCM RIPA being handled by Shelly Kishnani, who retired last month.
