Hours before the announcement of panchayatiraj elections, Rajasthan government transferred 15 RAS officers including Additional District Magistrates and Sub District Magistrates. The department of personnel (DoP) has instructed all the offices to join their duties immediately without availing any leave.
Narendra Pal Singh, who is serving as Additional Commissioner Command Area Development (CAD) in INGP, has been transferred as Additional District Magistrate Jaisalmer .
Anil Kumar Punia, who is serving as Secretary, Ajmer Development Authority, has been transferred as Registrar, Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara while Suresh Choudhary has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, JDA from Land Management Officer, Tonk.
Alwar Nagar Nigam Commissioner Laxmikant Katara has been put on APO following displeasure of State Minister of Forest Sanjay Sharma. Katara was not there on protocol duty on Gandhi Jayanti when Sharma went to offer floral tribute to Gandhi statue.
The government has also put ADM Jhunjhunnu Ajay Kumar Arya, ADM Jaisalmer Parasaram, Dungarpur Zilla Parishad CEO Hanuman Singh Rathore, Baran ADM Bhanwar Lal Janagal, Sawai Madhopur SDO Mani Lal, Baran SDO Sunil Kumar Jhingonia, Mandawar SDO Priyanka Badgujar, Phulia Kalan SDO of Bhilwara Arun Kumar Jain and Kishanganj SDO Hemant Kumar Ghanghor on APO.
